Fundraising for the new Pavilion has started . We are currently having plans drawn up and once we have detailed costings we will be actively seeking grants to fund this new build project . We would like the new Pavilion to be 50% larger by doubling the size of the social area / kitchen whilst retaining the 2 changing rooms and toilets both with disabled access. The construction would be wood with a pitched roof and a 3 metre veranda together with solar panels . We now need to consult with you, the residents of Pakenham and surrounding villages to ask for your opinion on the plans so far
Initial discussions for the use of our new Pavilion include :- Pop up cafe, Children's activities, parties , child care , youth club , chess club , Warm Hub , Men's Shed , craft club, social club , business meetings, catering facilities for sports and social events held on the playing field,
